EXPORTS (EXport Processes in the Ocean from Remote Sensing) is a NASA-led field campaign focused on understanding the export and fate of upper ocean net primary production using advanced ocean technologies and satellite observations. The initiative aims to quantify the carbon export potential of marine ecosystems and their role in the oceanic carbo... n cycle, which is crucial for predicting global climate change. EXPORTS collaborates with various research teams and utilizes ships, satellites, and autonomous vehicles to gather data on oceanic processes. The intended clients include researchers and organizations interested in oceanography, climate science, and environmental monitoring.Read More
