We are a well-established company, based in Auckland and currently employing 25 staff and servicing customers nationwide. Established in 1974 by founder Derek Harris (father of Daryl & Perry) in an upstairs site on Great South Road in Penrose, the Company was initially called Direct Multi Print Limited and was a traditional offset printer. As the c... ompany grew a trading name was adopted "DMP-HARRIS". This was done to enable our brand to be easily remembered and portray family connection. In 1997, DMP-Harris bought Trueprint, another long established printing company in Mount Wellington. This gave DMP-Harris the opportunity to grow by 50% and increase it's production facility. John Gilmer, Trueprint's Sales Manager, continues to look after our Trueprint clients. In 2000, Derek Harris retired and his sons Daryl and Perry took over the running of the business. Daryl Harris is Managing Director and Perry Harris is Production Director. Continuing expansion was helped along by the acquisition of Axis Print in 2004. This not only again gave the company added machinery and increased clientele but also DMP-Harris' first digital machine. As importantly, many staff with a wealth of knowledge and experience joined our team. DMP-Harris was now a fairly large offset printer with a strong Print Management System that focused on multi office companies such as franchises and real estate organisations. An increasing demand for different products and services led to DMP-Harris acquiring Corporate Print Solutions in 2008. This acquisition added a large digital component (we now have 3 colour and 5 black and white digital presses), poster and banner printing, display stands, promotional products, mailing facilities and a large in-house finishing department.
