Established in 1990. The Creative Arts Center is a place where artists come to teach and share their craft and where students gather to learn and grow. Space is also available for private and public use for meetings, parties and workshops. A full range of classes for all ages and abilities are offered; from Art to Zumba. Classes include but are not... limited to painting, sculpting, fabric arts, dance including ballroom, ballet, hip hop, jazz, and tap. Karate for all ages, separate Zumba classes for varied age groups and abilities, Yoga, Tumbling for tots and preschoolers and art classes for preschool age children. North Lincoln County (a.k.a.: the Tobacco Valley) is home to a lot of artists and artisans who want to share their knowledge and we encourage them to do so. We occasionally offer fully sponsored classes free to all. The Creative Arts Center is owned and operated by the Tobacco Valley Arts Council, a 501 (c)3 organization dedicated to the promotion of Arts in the Tobacco Valley The Creative Arts Center started life in a building that was built in 1906. It had been many different things over the years; a church, second hand store, and finally the Creative Arts Center. Classes were few in the beginning. Performing arts and dance were a part of the classes that were offered in the beginning. Managed by a group of citizens who were dedicated to bringing the arts to Eureka and the Tobacco Valley, they soon outgrew their surroundings and a campaign was launched to renovate and expand. Through the dedication and hard work of those founding members, generous donations from the community, the Creative Arts Center is now a thriving community center located in Eureka, Montana with 2 large studio's for dance, fitness programs and performing arts, as well as a dedicated art studio. Not confined to the walls of the Center however, Art is spread throughout the county with programs and events hosted by the TVAC like the Recycled Fashion Show and Art in the Park.Read More
