CIP, a non-profit civil association, is part of the Brazilian Payment System (SPB). Created on April 10, 2001, as Clearingban, CIP began operations with the SITRAF (Fund Transfer System) for settlement of TEDs (Electronic Transfer Available). At the time, the increasing globalization of the economy and the interdependence of the financial markets began to demand stricter and more sophisticated bases for the payment system. CIP's solutions and services provide reliability, availability and security to the financial market and all the systems in the organization that are monitored operate with availability that ensures efficiency to the business of its Participants.
