Central Hospital for Veterinary Medicine was founded in 1975 by several local veterinarians to improve their individual abilities to practice veterinary medicine through centralization of staff, equipment, facilities and ideas. Recently we moved from it's long time location in downtown New Haven, CT to a new larger facility in North Haven, CT. This move will allow us to provide you with expanded medical services in a more comfortable environment, with plenty of parking, large reception area and enclosed state of the art walking area for hospitalized dogs. Central Hospital is a partner in your pet's health care. We share all records of the treatment we provide with your family veterinarian. We are one of the first veterinary hospitals to use the rVetLink system to keep your family veterinarian connected to your pet's care while in the hospital. Our in-house staff includes sixteen doctors, seven of whom are dedicated to emergency care.
