C.A. Buchen Corp. (aka cabco) was founded in 1962 as a small fabrication shop for miscellaneous structural steel. CABCO supports the union spirit and employs experienced and skilled ironworkers from two local unions -- Shopmen Local 509 and Field IronworkersLocal 433 . It is also a sponsor of the Ironworkers Apprenticeship Program and a member in good standing of the Steel Fabricators Association (SFA) and the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC). CABCO is a Los Angeles licensed fabricator for unlimited structural steel, rebar and aluminum. After the 1994 Northridge earthquake, CABCO has become one of the specialists in seismic structural retrofit and repair.
