BJC architects + assocs. inc. was originally established in 1967 as Karl Briestensky Architect. In the following years and with the addition of partners Barry Johnson and Paul Critchley, the firm changed its name to reflect the addition of Barry and Paul to the firm. Briestensky Johnson and Critchley Architects was shortened to BJC architects inc. in 1999.
