Advanced Paramedic Employee Directory

APL was founded in 1999 by the company's CEO, Stephen Woodburn. The level of care in emergency medical services was satisfactory, but in Stephen's career as a Paramedic, he saw little compassion and was frustrated by many inefficiencies. Stephen knew he could provide a higher level of service to both the patient and the management of the service pr... ovided. Stephen's entrepreneurial spirit took charge and with little hesitation and the support of his family and friends, he began Advanced Paramedic Ltd. in his hometown of Peace River, Alberta. Not only did Stephen enjoy beginning this venture close to home, he knew that Peace River's geographical position within the Province of Alberta, would allow him to kickstart APL's industrial ambulance service, and get off to a great start in the air ambulance service as well. Stephen has recruited compassionate and caring people from within the communities that APL services to help him build this business, who all believe and share in his vision for superior patient care, innovation, community involvement and industry leadership. Among APL's many strengths that are values that the company was founded upon - the company deal with each emergency as the situation requires, never forgetting about the "big picture". The company has made innovations and continue each day to improve the experience of everyone involved from clients, to patients, to the loved ones of the company's patients. The company continue to grow the company's equipment line for what is best for the job and patient, not what is most economical. APL's passion has always been and will continue to be, providing an unparalleled quality of service, keeping the company's patient and their loved ones at the centre of the company's business.Read More
