What is Vision?
Vision operates a free, hands-on fashion program for urban youth aged 12-15, based in San Francisco's Bayview District. Founded in June 2004, the program, managed by wardrobe stylist Traci Peace Greco, aims to provide students with a comprehensive introduction to the fashion industry. Curriculum includes sewing and design, fashion illustration, merchandising, public relations, and introductory Italian and French. The program has a history of providing invaluable experiences, including a fashion field trip to New York in 2008 where students interned during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week and received a private tour of TEEN VOGUE Magazine.
