What is NewBridge?
NewBridge offers comprehensive job training programs aimed at equipping unemployed and underemployed adults with the necessary skills for meaningful, living-wage employment in sectors like health sciences. Complementary adult literacy and GED programs are also provided. The organization collaborates with corporate partners to tailor training curricula and facilitate successful post-program employment. Additionally, NewBridge runs a rigorous after-school program for high school students, focusing on creative arts such as ceramics, photography, graphic design, music recording, and film/video, with the goal of improving graduation rates. Modeled after Pittsburgh's Manchester Bidwell Corporation, NewBridge operates as an independent 501(c)3 nonprofit and an affiliate of Manchester Bidwell's National Center for Arts & Technology, leveraging their extensive experience and resources.
