Great Explorations is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization co-founded in 1986 by the Junior League of St. Petersburg and Hands-On! Inc. Established as the Great Explorations Children's Museum, it opened its doors in November 1987. For over a quarter of a century, the museum has been dedicated to serving children and families throughout the greater Tampa Bay area, providing educational and engaging experiences that foster curiosity and learning.
