What is FringeArts?
Founded in 1997 as the Philadelphia Fringe Festival, FringeArts has evolved into a prominent institution dedicated to providing opportunities for contemporary performing artists to connect with audiences. Initially a five-day event featuring 60 performing groups in unconventional spaces, the annual Fringe Festival now showcases over 1,000 performances by national, international, and local artists across all disciplines, attracting more than 40,000 attendees over 17 days.
