What is Casa Q?

National studies indicate that LGBTQ youth constitute a disproportionately high percentage, estimated between 20% and 40%, of the overall homeless youth population, largely due to family rejection. These young individuals face heightened risks, including sexual victimization, higher rates of mental health issues such as depression and anxiety, substance use, and domestic abuse. Casa Q specifically serves the greater Albuquerque metro area and New Mexico, offering a vital support system to combat these challenges.
