What's next for Carma?
With significant capital infusion at a Series B/C stage, CARMA is poised for strategic growth. The recent funding is expected to fuel the expansion of its rehabilitation and retraining programs, potentially increasing the number of horses it can support annually. Furthermore, the organization may leverage this capital to enhance its Placement Program, broadening its network of adopters and ensuring more retired Thoroughbreds find fulfilling second careers. Continued fundraising efforts will likely focus on building a sustainable endowment to ensure long-term operational stability and the continued well-being of California's racing Thoroughbreds.
