What is Baysail?
Baysail is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing unique sailing experiences and environmental education. Established in May 1998 with the Appledore IV, the organization expanded its fleet and educational offerings with the addition of the Appledore V in October 2002. Its core programs include 'Science Under Sail,' a hands-on environmental science initiative focused on the Saginaw River and Saginaw Bay, and 'Windward Bound,' a youth sail training program.
