What is Abilities Plus?
Abilities Plus, established in 1959 and headquartered in Kewanee, Illinois, is a dedicated not-for-profit organization committed to serving individuals of all ages with disabilities. The agency's mission is to "promote opportunities that result in independence and active decision making for people with disabilities and their families." Currently serving approximately 250 children and adults across Henry, Stark, and western Bureau Counties, Abilities Plus operates as a 501(c)(3) entity. It is an active member of the Illinois Association of Rehabilitation Facilities and holds a license from the Illinois Department of Human Services.
