Manila, Philippines - JCI Philippines officers and members welcomed with full honors the 64th JCI World President, JCI Sen. Jun Sup Shin from JCI Korea. The JCI President coming from his country arrived in Manila for his official four days visit to the Philippines from March 28-31, 2009. His trip is in addition to his travels to other countries in Asia, Europe and to the rest of the countries worldwide. The visit is a yearly official function of the highest officer of the Junior Chamber International visiting countries affiliated with the JCI organization. The purpose of his visitation is to have an audience with Head of States or high ranking government officials as well as to have an opportunity to interact with JCI Philippines officers and members of what are they doing in furthering the Junior Chambers mission. On his arrival at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport he was met by JCI Philippines National President Fulbert C. Woo and 2008 JCI VP Dennis L. Cunanan, Chief Executive Assistant to the JCI President together with some other National Officers. During his short stay in the country, he was accorded with the usual generous Filipino hospitality on all the activities he attended. The JCI President expressed his thanks and gratitude to all the officers and members of JCI Philippines for the fruitful visit before leaving for his next JCI National Organization visit in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
