Zak's Cheese has a storefront in Guymon, Oklahoma, directly in the heart of the homeland of America. Our great products are made from the finest ingredients and are sure to make your mouth water until the very last bite. Zak's Cheese was begun in 1983 by a couple who had moved to the Oklahoma panhandle from Wisconsin. The husband had been raised in... the dairy business and had worked in surrounding cheese factories growing up. When the couple would return to Wisconsin to visit, friends from Oklahoma would ask them to bring back some Wisconsin cheeses. Soon they were returning from Wisconsin with the trunk of their car full of fresh Wisconsin cheese. They decided there must be a market for high quality, fresh Wisconsin cheese in the Oklahoma panhandle area. Zak's was begun. It was thought that fresh from the factory cheese might be welcomed elsewhere, thus schools were talked to and fundraising began. We have expanded our line to include more than just cheese. We have summer sausages, gift boxes, chocolates, mints, peanuts, and much more.
