The modern world so often feels thoroughly explored with limits strongly in place. Pyrography is the tool I use to redefine what art can be and how we can create it. It's my way of finding the spark of the new and undiscovered, and being able to consistently show people something they've never seen before. I invented my technique in 2011 and it's c... onstantly evolving. While fire is traditionally seen as a chaotic and destructive element, in my art, I anticipate its path and use it as a tool of creation. While the finished pieces are tangible, they are created with performance art. The creating and the creation carry equal weight in my artwork.
