We believe that all young men and women are capable of learning how to do - what they can do - for themselves. YWAP exists to empower young people in using their abilities to become the world changers that God meant them to be. We form community partnerships with organizations who engage in poverty and violence prevention strategies for inner-city... young people. YWAP neighborhood programs help young men 18-30 yrs, old gain life skills that will make them employable and avoid violence. YWAP middle school programs teach students 10-14 yrs old how to handle their emotions, motivate themselves and understand empathy. The YWAP Core of Building Character has 5 cornerstones: Moral Integrity & spiritual growth. Education is a life-long endeavor.
