About Youth Bands Program
John Mallinson Youth Band (JMYB) is a not-for-profit community band dedicated to fostering a love of music and performance among young wind, brass, and percussion players. The band provides a supportive environment for amateur musicians to rehearse and perform symphonic band music and original compositions. Open to members of all ages with a preferred skill level of AMEB Grade 5 or equivalent, JMYB has been an integral part of the City of Whitehorse since 2009. The band holds rehearsals on Saturday afternoons and is currently welcoming new members.Explore more
