Youth Action Nepal

Having conducted various youth oriented programs in the past, Youth Action Nepal(YOAC) now intends to organize an event that hundreds of high school and college students . One of such event is Model United Nations (MUN). MUN is a mega-event where the participants (recognized as delegates) are encouraged to do self research, as well as increase thei... r political awareness and knowledge. It further assesses them to extensively get involved in international relations, formal debating skills and art of diplomacy. The previous such event hosted by YOAC was successful in achieving its goal which was to conduct a program that aware youth about the world issues. Though the concept of MUN is relatively new in Nepal various MUNs are being held especially in the Kathmandu valley. But we intend to organize an event that is inclusive and is able to help youths in addressing world issues from a local as well as global perspective. In order to extend the overall concept of basic model united nations, we have also included some of the special committees , one of which is , the Nepali committee , where the all the sessions will be conducted in our own Nepali language . Focusing on this, Youth Action Nepal is collaborating with The United Nations Information Centre Nepal will be presenting the International Youth Model United Nations 2019.
