Yogi Hunter

I am Yogi Kim aka Yogi Hunter I moved to Perth after doing my Yoga Teacher Training in Los Angeles prior to that I was living in Melbourne for 4+ years as an Executive Assistant who had just recently start a small photography business @kimwilliamsphotos when my life change and my long term relationship ended. After 8 months of healing while living... in LA doing my YTT I decided to come back to Australia and move to Perth to photograph yogisI felt like yoga is only being showcase in the world in a certain way with lots of stereotypes which I wanted to help change. I want people to understand that this practice is for ANYONE no matter what size, gender or age you are. So I hunted down anyone who I could through socials or in the yoga community that wanted to do a fun shoot with me. I want to share everyday yogis stories this has been a side project for years and I am still working on finishing it but need more yogis to participate After a few months of job searching to pay rent, I couldnt find work and started teaching yoga in my front room in my rental house after 6 months. Then a magical idea came to me to do yoga in a tent. I decided to buy a Bell Circus Tent which then niches my studio into an outdoor vibes place for only a small class size to do yoga studio. I have been teaching yoga in my back garden ever since which has been amazing to get to know so many beautiful people in the East Victoria Park community. I never could of imagine the tribe I would have made by just teaching yoga in my small tent. I also provide Sharewaste compost bins for my local community and students to use as well as being a drop-off point for plastic bottle caps and bread tags to help take them away from landfill. Trying to help educate the community on reducing our waste and practising living more intentional on and off the yoga.
