This website is a collection of articles about various topics revolving around Yoga. I will frame some of the discussion in terms of experiences as Ive traveled about the world in search of authentic yoga. What is it really like to study & practice in Mysore or Goa? To do justice to any of the above items would take many books, or a whole library. Thus anything that I write is necessarily a minute part of the topic. The writing will be personal, and biased, but I do try not to fall into the new-age cliches, or vague metaphors. My primary goal is to inspire people, especially older people, to develop a sustainable yoga practice. If youre new to yoga, you may be inspired to take it up, and if youre advanced youll find lots of information about yoga theory and practice that I have gathered from my 2000 hours of yoga teacher training, and three decades of yoga practice. I have been fortunate to study with some of the best teachers in the world, and I am enthusiastic to share my knowledge. I am an Yoga Alliance Registered 500 hour yoga teacher. I am also a graduate of the Yoga Tree 1000 hour teacher training program, with a major in Vinyasa Flow. I have studied with many other teachers both in the US and in India, both in workshops and other teacher training programs. I also have some training in Yoga Therapeutics.
