Founded in 1934 by Tadao Yoshida, YKK Corporation began as a slider fastener trading company called San-S Shokai. YKK itself stands for Yoshida Kogyo Kabushi... ki Kaisha. YKK now operates in 114 affiliated companies in 71 countries and regions, also expands its business into new fields.
