Wyoming High School

The Wyoming High School Alumni Association is an Ohio not-for-profit organization serving graduates and friends of Wyoming High School. Faculty/staff and non-graduates are welcome as auxiliary members, with dues payable at the same rate as alumni members. We aim to facilitate communication, camaraderie, and connection among alumni. Each year, we pr... ovide scholarships to two graduating seniors. We are led by volunteer trustees . The Class of 1885, made up of five students, was the first to graduate from Wyoming High School. One hundred years later, we graduated a class of 139 seniors. During that 100 years, more than 6,000 students passed through the hallowed halls of Wyoming High School. To honor the first 100 years, Wyoming graduate Dorothy Spreen Schierenbeck, Class of 1940, gathered together a core group of local graduates who organized a celebratory reception in the summer of 1984. The enthusiasm of those attending that event led to the formation of the Wyoming High School Alumni Association. By the next summer, that core group formed the association's first board of trustees.
