WRC Senior Services

WRC Senior Services is a not-for-profit organization that owns several communities and services for seniors in a tri-county area. They include: Laurelbrooke Landing and North Fork Heights in Jefferson County; Ridgmont in Elk County; Edgewood Heights and Highland Oaks in Clarion County; and In Home Solutions home care agency which serves all three c... ounties. WRC is also currently constructing two new communities - the Village at Ridgmont in Ridgway and the Villas at Water Run in Clarion. At the re-organizational meeting, the board officers for WRC Senior Services' parent board of directors for fiscal year 2016 were announced as follows. Jay Chamberlin of Brookville will continue in his role as Chair. Chamberlin is the Senior Vice President of Lending and Chief Lending Officer at Community First Bank. Cindy Russell of Sigel will serve as Chair Elect. Russell is a retired nursing home administrator and registered nurse. The Immediate Past Chair is New Bethlehem resident and PhD/Nurse Practitioner Lana Smith. Brookville resident and attorney Beth Gerg continues to serve as the Secretary, and Ridgway resident and Chief Fiscal officer of Dickinson Center Heidi Thomas as Treasurer. In addition to the parent board of directors, WRC Senior Services also has affiliate boards that govern specific WRC communities. Three new board members were recently welcomed to those boards. Jamie Lefever of New Bethlehem and Jeff Foor of Clarion joined the WRC Pennsylvania Memorial Home Board. Lefever is the Executive Director of the Clarion County Economic Development Corporation. Foor is the Vice President of First Commonwealth Bank. Sue Erlandson of Brookville joined the board that governs North Fork Heights. Erlandson worked in management of a durable medical equipment provider for a number of years and is now retired. WRC Senior Services has been providing health care, housing and supportive service choices to seniors since 1890.Read More
