The founders, Gerry Jackson and Brendan Byrne who were colleagues in Aer Lingus, saw an opening in the market for an independent handler, offering quality facilities and services to airline and freight forwarders alike. By the summer of that year, they had formed a joint venture, secured facilities at all Irish airports and commenced handling their first customer, American Airlines. Gerry Jackson has many years' experience in air cargo handling. He has worked in all areas of the business culminating in his role as Cargo Operations Manager at Aer Lingus with responsibility for the entire Aer Lingus air cargo network. Gerry is very well known and respected within the air cargo community both in Ireland and abroad.
