Word Fellowship

Word Fellowship was born out of the frustration of "everyday church." The average American experience has become nothing more than Christian entertainment filled with rockin' bands and a never-ending supply of topical, "cotton candy" messages. Gone are messages relating to Christ, the cost of following Him, and devotion to the historic Gospel. Word... Fellowship focuses on three main tenets. First, the expository, verse by verse teaching of the Bible. We believe that the Scripture is fully sufficient for living a life of godliness and addresses all the major issues and concerns of mankind. Secondly, we are convinced that each believer has been commissioned by Christ Himself to make disciples of all nations. Therefore, a major thrust in our church must be to train those entrusted to our care in order to multiply Christ-followers. Finally, Word Fellowship desires to make an indelible footprint in our community through service, support and outreach. Mark Marley serves as teaching pastor at Word Fellowship. Along with his wife Dede, they are committed to Jesus Christ and are passionate about the things described above. Mark retired from the Air Force after 26 years of active duty service as a counselor and educator. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of the State of New York and a Master's Degree from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary.
