About Wood Iron Eatery
Established in 2018. We make small batch dishes, from scratch, with attention to detail so your tastebuds are sure to be interested! We also try to work with local coffee roasters to provide our customers with a variety of fresh, delicious coffee, with a low carbon footprint. Wood Iron Eatery started with local, Lori Withrow, moving back to WV from CA with her chef husband, Jeffrey. They decided to open a restaurant a few weeks after their baby Zoey was born because they are crazy people. The name comes from Lori's family running a small wood mill before the coal mining boom in Appalachia, and Jeffrey's family being in the steel/metal industry in PA. The couple wanted to pay homage to their family roots.Explore more
