Al began his passion for woodworking in his early teen years and continued working with wood, building things for his home and friends throughout his 20 year career with Proctor and Gamble. In 1987, Wood Creations by Al Sinclair became the official name of the business and it grew into a fully-equipped wood shop with part-time help. In 1995, Al's wife, Suzanne was ready to establish her lifetime dream of a retreat center in Peebles, Ohio, 60 miles east of Cincinnati and the woodworking continued in a new shop and locale. Al recently retired from his work at Hope Springs Institute in favor of focusing his creative talent, refined artisan skills and energies on woodworking, his true life work. My wife and I own a kitchen & bath design showroom. We have worked with Al Sinclair on a number of projects and it has been our pleasure to work with someone as professional as Al.
