Wolrdwide Flight Services (South Africa) (Pty) Ltd is a company established in December 2012, set up to provide world class aviation services at key airport locations across South Africa. It is a joint venture partnership between the world's largest global provider of cargo handling services - Worldwide Flight Services, and the highly successful lo... cal South African airline - SA Airlink. WFS (South Africa) has cargo handling facilities at OR Tambo International Airport (3000m2), and Cape Town International Airport (1200m2). WFS (South Africa) now employs 91 trained and highly experienced cargo handling , administrative and support staff at the Johannesburg facility, and 30 at the Cape Town facility. Both operations have been refurbished and equipped with new pallet handling systems , including integral weighing beds, and a fleet of new forklifts and pallet trucks. Investment has been made in new dual view x-ray screening equipment at both stations. From fairly small beginnings, WFS has flourished in scope and presence and now operates at 188 locations around the globe. WFS is an industry leading, independent provider of quality airport services including the full range of Cargo Handling, Passenger Services, Passenger Baggage Handling, Ramp Services, Equipment Maintenance/Repair and a full range of Technical Services to the aviation industry.
