About Wolbito do Brasil
Wolbito do Brasil is dedicated to protecting the population from dengue, Zika, and chikungunya through innovative technology that combats the transmitting mosquito. The company employs the Wolbachia method, which involves controlled release of mosquitoes carrying a bacterium that inhibits the development of these viruses, thereby reducing disease transmission. Founded in 2023 through a partnership with the Instituto de Biologia Molecular do Paraná and the World Mosquito Program, Wolbito supports public health initiatives across Brazil. With biofactories in Curitiba and Fortaleza, the company aims to enhance public health by significantly reducing the incidence of mosquito-borne diseases.Explore more
