Both schools are located between Benalla and Wangaratta in the rural North East region of Victoria. Due to the size of both Winton and Glenrowan schools they offer a setting which is often described as a family atmosphere. I strongly believe that a childs experience in primary school should be enjoyable and fun. Im a great advocate for teachers building positive, genuine relationships with the students across the school. Staff are passionate, enthusiastic and focussed on learning. They care for each student and understand the individuals needs both emotionally and academically. In addition to our original school house / administration area we also have a newly relocated building where our two classes have ample space to operate. Playgrounds, covered court area, sports oval, an extensive vegie patch and bushland environment complete the Winton school grounds.
