We have been treating patients in the Winner area for over 25 years. We have outpatient clinics in Winner, Burke, Presho and Pierre. We service over 3 counties and provide inpatient and... outpatient services, school services, home health, nursing home and hospital care. We focus on providing hands on care and enabling the patient to succeed in better health and improving their quality of life. Do I have a choice where I do my physical or occupational therapy? Yes you do, you have the right to go wherever you choose, your referral is taken at all our independent clinics and can be used with any insurance company for reimbursement, and we communicate with any prescribing physician, osteopath, physician assistant and/or nurse practitioner to make sure you get the best rehab possible. Will insurance cover physical or occupational therapy? YES, FOR MOST INSURANCE PLANS THE VISIT IS TYPICALLY AN OFFICE COPAY, IF YOU HAVE MEDICARE YOU ARE TYPICALLY REQUIRED TO PAY 20% OF THE BILL, UNLESS YOU HAVE A SUPPLEMENTAL COVERAGE PLAN WHICH WILL TYPICALLY COVER THAT LAST 20%. IN WHICH CASE THERE WOULD BE NO OUT OF POCKET EXPENSE. SOME HIGHER DEDUCTIBLE PLANS MAY MAKE YOU REACH YOUR DEDUCTIBLE BEFORE THERAPY IS COVERED, BUT MANY TIMES IF A SURGICAL PROCEDURE IS PERFORMED THE DEDUCTIBLE WILL OFTEN BE MET. JUST GIVE OUR FRIENDLY OFFICE STAFF A CALL AND THEY CAN ANSWER ANY MORE SPECIFIC QUESTIONS. It is too expensive, besides I can just do some exercises at home. What is expensive is a lingering injury that causes you to be laid off from work longer than necessary, and missing some enjoyable activities, such as a grandchilds ballgame, secondary to pain.
