He first worked with accounting software systems for the construction industry, trying to find solutions for his own business. By the late most of the heavy highway construction companies in Southern California were using WINBID. for Windows. It just wasn't as fast nor as efficient as DOS for a long time. But we did start building the new system in Windows so it would combine the best of the DOS design with the new advantages available in Windows. When the Windows database software grew fast enough, and the computer hardware also grew in speed, we released WINBID2020 for Windows. we have continued enhancing and improving the system, and have added more optional add-on functions, including automatic uploads to many different accounting systems.
