Wildwater Expeditions is West Virginia's first licensed outfitter. With over 30 years experience in the whitewater rafting industry, we have the experience to make your visit with us both memorable and fun. You cannot provide quality-rafting trips on the New and Gauley Rivers based on history alone. You also have to have the best-trained guides, an... d the best equipment available; we do. Wildwater trained guides exceed the state required minimums before being allowed to guide you down the river. All of our rafts are custom designed by the same folks that the US Navy uses for its watercrafts. Our reputation is above reproach and we plan on keeping it that way. The rivers have been good to us over the past three decades. We've grown as a company and as an industry. What started out as just a dream that three brothers had in 1968, is now part of the state's leading industry: tourism. What a rush to know that we started it all and are still going strong. Millions of smiles and memories later (not to mention a lot of water under the bridge) we are still having fun doing the very job that we set our to do: bringing quality outdoor experience to the hard working folks of the world who expect more out of life than rush-hour traffic.
