Wild Things

Since 2003, Wild Things has enabled over 13,000 children, young people and adults to learn from and be inspired by their local natural environment. We pride ourselves on bringing nature experiences all areas of our community. Our programmes encourage a mutually beneficial relationship between individuals and nature. W e provide the opportunity for... our participants to understand, appreciate and care for the natural environment. At the same time they gain new skills, confidence, and interests. Our activities benefit all age groups from nursery age children to older adults. We work in partnership with a range of organisations providing extra support for young people considered 'at risk' or who are struggling within mainstream education. We also work with vulnerable and older adults. Aside from charitable programmes Wild Things is also an accredited training provider. We provide training to those who wish to lead their own Outdoor Learning programmes through courses such as our Woodland Activity Leader Training course. Read more about Wild Things.
