Wild Earth

Wild Earth creates unique nature immersion experiences that strengthen connections to self, each other and the Earth while building ecological, social and cultural resilience. Located along the Shawangunk Ridge in New York's Hudson Valley, and founded in 2004, Wild Earth provides innovative nature connection programs for school groups, business gro... ups, youth and families. We offer a diverse selection of experiences including programs for empowerment, leadership, the arts, rites of passage, and experiential science education. All of our programs include awareness building, adventure and fun, primitive skills and crafts, and story and song facilitated by multi-generational mentors. Our programs are premised on the belief that experiences in nature are not only essential for a person's cognitive, physical and emotional well-being, but they also help strengthen connections to self, to others and to the Earth. What does a day look like? Imagine being surrounded by forest and bird song, bathed in dappled light and the fresh scent of wild flowers. At Wild Earth our day is filled with basking in this beauty and engaging with the Earth. The magic begins with inspiring stories, hands-on demonstrations, and individual and group challenges. Wild Earth experiences focus on team building, adventure and play, as well as intimacy and knowledge of nature. In all of our programs participants learn practical skills to expand their awareness in both the forest and in the world.
