Whole Parents

Whole Parents is a grassroots organization started by Joan Strong Cameron, a mother,business owner and nutrition student, living in Camas, WA. I was enlightened about whole food nutrition by attending various nutrition lectures sponsored by Juice Plus. I started taking Juice Plus, then put my whole family on this amazing product as well. I became a... distributor, since I was already sharing it with everyone I knew, and I was really impressed by the company behind the product. I continue going to the nutrition lectures and am still amazed by the people I meet there and the fascinating and important things I was learning about the importance of eating correctly, and that it is indeed NOT common knowledge. I decided to make it a goal in my life to educate as many people as I possibly could. Although I was learning alot on my own, I longed for the chance to go back to school, to get the credentials behind the drive. I overcame my belief that I was too busy to add another thing "to my plate" and began searching for a way to fit a formal education program into my busy life. I found the answer, distance learning, which allows me to study on my own terms, whenever and wherever I have the time.
