Back in 2007, with a crisis looming in the real estate market, Frédéric Van der Planken felt there was a large opportunity in the market, the divide between asset management and property management being what it was. In the crisis to come, he understood that bridging the needs of the investors and the tenants alike, was going to be one of the key c... hallenges to tackle. In 2008 this idea formed the baseline of Whitewood, combined with a true financial alignment between manager and investor. A new real-estate business, depicted by a beautiful stag of white and blue. As from 2011 onward, the first steps were taken in the Netherlands, culminating in the joint venture with AllFixed Property Management end of 2015. Today, the company has grown exponentially in both Belgium and the Netherlands. Starting withmaximum value for investors and tenants. Whitewood had evolved and had exceeded even our own expectations. With an ever expanding tenant base and professionalism of our Investment clients, we decided that a new image was required that reflects this evolution and the clear direction that the brand has taken. We chose to simplify, using black and white; an example of how two divergent elements communicate more powerfully together than they do on their own. We realised that Whitewood had evolved, and that both parts of these same medaillon converged more and more. Whitewood had fulfilled its raison dtre, as we became the link between tenants and investors. For this reason, we have decided on a more professional image that will reflect the new direction of our brand. We choose to simplify, using black and white; an example of how two divergent elements communicate more powerfully together than they do on their own. The deer will still represent us, as well as its characteristics; strong, proud and free.
