About Whiterabbitfilms

White Rabbit Films is an award-winning, London-based independent production company with a reputation for integrity and innovation. We make psychologically-layered films and factual content for a range of media platforms. At the heart of our work is a belief in the transformational power of documentary - to engage, provoke, inspire and connect us, and ultimately change the way we see the world. Elizabeth Stopford founded the production company in 2008 to produce her first feature length documentary I'm Not Dead Yet for BBC Storyville. I'm Not Dead Yet went on to win a Grierson Award. This was followed by The New Kings of Nigeria for BBC Storyville, produced together with Passion Pictures. In 2011 We Need to Talk About Dad, produced together with Rare Day for Channel 4, was nominated for a BAFTA for Best Single Documentary. Our most recent documentary, Mind the Gap, was produced for the BBC as part of their Why Poverty? season: a series of films which ask what it means to live in povertRead more
