About Whay
WHAY went on the air in December 1990 at 105.9FM, playing an eclectic mix of music from day one. Through the years, we have also offered local news, announcements, weather, local sports and much more to our listening audience. In 2000, we increased our power output and moved down the dial to 98.3FM. We also started streaming live online in the early 2000s and adopted a full time Americana music format. Tune in daily for music, KNN (Kentucky News Network) news and sports, local news & weather, Swap-n-Shop, Kentucky Sports Radio and other great programs and features.
