I was born and raised in western PA, and I live in New Kensington with my wife and young son. Ive been working in my fathers business since I was a young teenager, and basically grew up on the job sites. Ive performed every task within the company from cleaning the job site, to running production, to in home sales. I utilize my 20 plus years of experience in home remodeling to ensure all of our customers receive the absolute best service and a high quality finished product that provides value long after the job is done. In my current role as owner and operations manager, I oversee every aspect of the company from sales to production. I ensure that every project is handled with the highest level of professionalism, attention to detail, and quality craftsmanship. When Im not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, skiing, going to concerts, collecting records, and playing guitar. Michael is the founder of Michael F Whalen Contracting. He began his career in the trades as a union carpenter in the 1970s. He started Michael F Whalen Contracting as a side business in 1982, doing mostly exterior remodeling jobs on nights and weekends, before taking the company full time. He has used his 40 plus years of experience to provide solutions for thousands homeowners in need.
