Let the library come to you! The Westland Public Library offers a delivery service for Westland residents who are confined to their homes. After a personal interview, a librarian selects materials of interest to you, and they will be dropped off and picked up by a volunteer. See our Homebound Delivery page for more information. The library's Summer Reading Program has begun. Read with us from June 19 to August 14 to win great prizes! Kids and teens can register at the library. Adults can enter our weekly prize drawing on our Adult Summer Reading page. Be sure to check our calendar for more fun activities and events! The library is seeking candidates for multiple Library Aide positions! Please see our employment page for more information. The Emergency Broadband Benefit will provide a discount of up to $50 per month toward broadband service for eligible families and households who are struggling to stay connected during the COVID19 pandemic. Qualifying households on Tribal lands can receive a discount of up to $75 per month for service. Eligible households can also receive a discount of up to $100 for the purchase of a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet from participating providers.
