Western Security Systems Ltd is a jointly owned family business run by brothers Simon and Stephen Outing. The history of the business can be traced back to 1973 when their Parents John and Pamela Outing started their own business from a small shop in Mill Street in Pontypridd. These premises were later compulsory purchased to make way for a large c... ar park as part of the Pontypridd town regeneration scheme and as such they moved to alternate premises a few miles away to the village of Rhydyfelin where they stayed until 1991. In the early part of 1991, it was decided that Simon and Stephen Outing would take over certain elements of the business from their parents' company (via their own separate company) and this is when Western Security Systems Ltd was established and the existing customer's migrated across to the new business. Fast-forward 25 years and the company still has some of the original customers from this 1970's era who have upgraded their systems (albeit a number of times) as well as bring their own developing family members on board with us. We are delighted that a number of them have become very close and personal friends over the years. Nowadays we work from our own premises in Cardiff which is extremely close to the M4 motorway and positions the company much better to serve its ever growing customer base throughout the country. Without great staff, we wouldn't be a great company and we take immense pride in the fact that we have an extremely low turn-over of staff who take great pride in their work and because we never use sub-contract work force, you will always see the same members of staff at all times.Read More
