Wendland Ag Services began as a fuel and excavating business in Waldheim, Saskatchewan. Sam Wendland started the business in 1955, and in the late 60s/early 70s he started selling fertilizer and ag chemicals. In 1980, Sam's son Dave came back to the family business starting as a laborer. He learned how to operate the business from his dad and in 19... 82 bought into the business and became secretary of the company. Dave is now the President of Wendland Ag Services. The business started with just the Waldheim location and has expanded over the years to eight locations throughout central Saskatchewan: Waldheim, Rosthern, Domremy, Blaine Lake, Delmas, Saskatoon, Cut Knife and North Battleford. The number of employees has grown from one when Wendland Ag Services first began to over 30 today!
