WELRODS LIMITED is a wholly Kenyan owned company established in 1972 and is involved in manufacturing various types of welding electrodes and gas rods. WELRODS started operation very modestly, against stiff competition from imported electrodes but due to emphasis laid down on very high standards of quality, we slowly made headway. Initially we were... producing only one type of electrode - WELRO N3 , a general purpose mild steel electrode. As time went by, we ventured into manufacturing "special" type of electrodes i.e. cast iron, stainless steel, hardfacing, low hydrogenand non-ferrous electrodes .
