About Wellness Pharmacy
Wellness Pharmacy® has been a family run business since 1922, the year Bob Harbin founded Harbin Drugs. We've dedicated the company's practice to compounding since 1964-which means, of course, that Wellness has now offered quality compounding for over 50 years. Rod Harbin, Sr. joined the company in 1971, shortly after his graduation from Auburn University. The 1980's and 1990's saw a number of changes and expansions in the company's compounding practice: The company purchased a building. The company remodeled several times. The company doubled the company's space twice-adding an upstairs, a bigger lab, and a conference room. The company formally adopted the name Wellness Health + Pharmacy in 1989-to better reflect the company's practice and philosophy. And then the company shortened that to simply Wellness Pharmacy® just a few years ago. Wellness entered its third generation of family leadership in 1999.
