About Weka
Back in 2011, founders Todd and Crystal Herring combined their Military and Law Enforcement experience with a background in Behavioral and Mental Health to create a specialized Emergency Response Secure Transport Program. Alaska was in the middle of a Mental Health Crisis with no reliable way to transport patients across the State between facilities. WEKA went to work and was quickly recognized as the gold standard for In-Custody Transports. WEKA then began rapidly expanding In-Custody Transports for the State of Alaska as well as private customers. To date, we cover approximately 95% of In-Custody Transports for the State of Alaska. From Anchorage to the Bush, or from Juneau to North Pole our Transport Officers are ready to respond at a moments notice.
